The Gogebic Range Solid Waste Management Authority (Transfer Station)  located at E5917 US2 is opening their recyling center. As of September, 2010, the hours are Monday and Thursday from 8 am - 4 pm and on Saturdayss from 8 am until noon. The cost is $55 a ton (approximately 3 cents per pound) with a minimum of $2.00.
